Dental OfficeKhorsand Dental Group dental office can be a place where you relax while you receive teeth cleanings at least twice a year. Most people may hold a negative view about visits to a dental office. Even though our office is comfortable, most people prefer to avoid the dentist office. However, we also know that if you are in our office twice a year for cleanings and a checkup, the chances that you will need to visit us with a toothache greatly decrease.

With proper dental hygiene, you have the ability to take proactive steps to maintain your teeth in optimal condition and thereby reduce the number of dental visits you may have to make. With a visit to our dental office at least twice a year, we can catch any potential problems early and treat you accordingly.

Visit our dental office if you want to prevent your teeth from decaying, prevent your children from getting cavities, or want a brighter white smile. With years of experience, we will make sure that your annual visits have a positive effect on your oral health. While you are here, we will give your teeth a professional cleaning, eliminating plaque and reducing the potential for decay.

We will also take X-rays and keep an eye on any soft spots or other potential problems. With the X-rays and other precautions, we can identify and treat dental issues before they flare up and create the need for emergency dental care. With a common-sense approach, we can work with the patient to prevent any serious issues from developing.

Most commonly, outside of visits and cleanings, people come to our dental office to deal with a toothache or to treat a dental emergency. While dental emergencies can occur unexpectedly, healthy teeth can reduce the risk of severe damage.  Still, aggressive sports like martial arts, football, and even baseball can result in a tooth being knocked loose or out, which creates an immediate need to visit our dental office. Other dental emergencies occur when someone ignores a problem, like an infected tooth, for a long time and eventually cannot bear the discomfort any longer.  Ongoing care can help prevent the worst case scenarios from ever occurring in the first place.

Dental Office in El Centro

Even though toothaches are a form of dental emergency and painful, many people will live with it for awhile before scheduling an appointment. If you have a toothache, we never recommend postponing an appointment. Some people may not realize that a toothache has underlying reasons that trigger the discomfort. The underlying reasons for a toothache have little chance of going away on their own, which is why the earlier one receives treatment, the better.

Since a number of issues from teeth grinding at night to infected teeth can cause toothaches, it is prudent to have an examination as soon as possible. With an early examination, we can identify the underlying issue and begin treating it right away.  While we understand that visiting the dentist is not always high on our patients’ priority list, it is incredibly important.  Working together, we can keep you in good oral health, feeling  comfortable, and decrease the likelihood of you having a dental emergency.
